• Formerly affiliated with Leland Freeborn's Kingdom of God, Inc. After disagreements arose, Shaffer left the group, taking several members and family members with him to Idaho Falls.
• Shaffer claims divine revelation, and he is also the compiler of the Priceless Gems collection of scripture. A full listing of scriptures may be found on the group page.
• On December 6, 2017, Shaffer was arrested along with John Coltharp. Shaffer is being held in Utah on suspicion of committing kidnapping and child abuse. He may have formed a new group called "The Knights of the Crystal Blade," or this may be an alternate name for another known group. More information is needed (Swenson).
